One owner tractor, garage kept and well cared for/maintained. No issues, no leaks. Starts right up and everything works like it should. This is not a small little subcompact machine, this is a large frame compact tractor. Plenty of power to lift an actual ton of material or dig trees/stumps and use on larger properties. Compare to a new 4044r thats sold today and would be close to $60k setup similarly. These older 4000 series deere's are built to last and had very few issues. Extremely reliable, easy to maintain and no complicated electrical computers or emissions that cause problems. It's getting tougher and tougher to find larger machines like this in nice original condition. Just a fantastic reliable machine for someone looking for power and performance, but still easily transportable without CDL. A new 1025r which is a 1/4 of the capabilities of this machine is $25k new. Hence the pricing, if you want a lot of power for similar cost, this is a great option. This 4500 has the power reverser transmission which is great for loader work, can shuttle back and front without clutching and shift through the gears as you're rolling as well. Very nice all around transmission that doesn't feel sluggish and unable to maintain speed like a hydrostatic. Easy to operate and once you run it a few times you become a very good operator quickly. Hour meter is 100% accurate on this machine, unlike alot of older Deere's with the LCD hour meters that have sun faded or water intrusion and no longer are visible. This one is accurate and all gauges are working as well. This is a not a used and abused machine, if you're looking for quality you found the right tractor here. 3 point arms are included and complete as well as the drawbar which is important to get when buying a tractor.29500
